Fathers’ Day at Harold Hawthorne is generally a fun outing for our clients, but this year we had two especially happy attendees. ECHO clients finally had a win in the Fathers’ Day raffle! Carlo won a hamper, and you can see him grinning here with the other gents who joined us on the day. (L-R Kevin, Volunteer Driver Max, Carlo, Douglas, and Zoran.) It was great to see the men getting out and enjoying each other’s company – this is what ECHO’s social supports are all about for older people living in their own homes. Judy also won a prize and she’s very much looking forward to seeing the dance performance with her daughter.
