We think older people living at home deserve a great life.

At ECHO, we support you doing the household tasks you still like to do, we take care of anything that’s become too difficult, and we help you stay connected with your community. It’s your home and it’s your life. We’re just here to make it all a bit easier.

The Commonwealth provides funding to help older people remain in their own homes if they wish, for as long as they’re able. The Government allocates a funding program to you and you choose a provider like ECHO to do the work. There are two programs: one for just getting a little help around the house, another for more complex care.

As a growing organisation we’re always looking for good people for paid and volunteer roles. If you have training as a support worker we’d love to meet you. If you have time to give and you’d like to help older people living at home, contact our Volunteer Coordinator.
