Our Board

As Volunteers, the members of our Board bring to ECHO a range of skills, knowledge and experience which is of great benefit to the organisation and is especially valuable in a time of significant change in the aged care area. Some members of the Board also volunteer in other capacities such as driving a bus or helping with outings or social activities. Because of these activities and the combination of talents of all Board members, the Board remains in touch with the needs of clients while understanding the changes and challenges that we face.

In 2020 Mr Paul Blackbeard stepped down as Chair, after spending almost four years in this role at ECHO. He led the organisaiton at a time when many significant changes took place, including ECHO’s transition through the global pandemic. His leadership and commitment are to be commended and we thank him for his contribution and the legacy he has created.
