ECHO Community Services provides services to help our clients enjoy living independently in the community.
Home and Community Care Services (HACC)
Domestic Assistance (Bayswater & Stirling)
Assistance in the home with house cleaning, laundry and shopping.
Social Support (Bayswater Residents Only)
Companionship and support including shopping ,banking, social outings and visits to places of interest.
60 Strong Men’s Club (Bayswater Residents Only)
Social outings of interest and companionship to men.
Transport (Bayswater Residents Only)
Help with visits to medical appointments, podiatry, shopping and leisure activities.
Personal Care (Bayswater Residents Only)
Assistance with daily self care such as showering, grooming, dressing and meals.
Centre Based Day Care (Bayswater Residents Only)
Morning teas with interesting talks given by guest speakers mixed with entertainment by local talent.
Home Maintenance (Bayswater & Stirling)
Minor home repairs and gardening to maintain a safe home environment.
Community Aged Care Packages (CACP)
Community Aged Care Packages provide a higher level of services to continue staying in their own homes. These services include:
- Personal Care
- Home Help
- Meal Assistance
- Shopping and Bill Paying
- Centre Based Day Care
- Social Support
- Gardening
- Transport
Our Community Aged Care Packages are limited to Bayswater residents.
Service Principles
ECHO Community Services works in accordance with the Australian Government to promote a WELLNESS APPROACH for our clients. The WELLNESS APPROACH promotes participation by clients in their own care, with a focus on independence and self management.
Eligibility for Services
To be eligible for our Home and Community Care services you need to demonstrate that you have an ongoing functional disability. Eligibility for Community Aged Care Packages will be determined through an assessment by an ACA Team member.
